The Great Canadian Appathon was back for a second round, and on Nov 2nd the winners were announced!

Students all across Canada are all buzzing over the chance to win some serious cold, hard cash.

This national competition is driven by creativity, spontaneity, persistence and patience, not to mention coffee and energy drinks, and gives teams the opportunity to create their very own mobile games in 48 hours. The hackathon begins September 30th, 2011 at 5pm local time and ends October 2nd, 2011 at 5pm local time.

Getting the opportunity to potentially have your game published into an APP store is any gamers dream and over $50,000 in Prizes doesn't hurt either.
